The Young India Skills University (YISU) has been established by the Government of Telangana as an institutional means to achieve the dynamic vision of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Revanth Reddy, to enhance the employability of the youth of Telangana by enriching their education & learning with industry demanded skill sets.

Telangana is among the fastest growing states in India with its economic growth encompassing a wide spectrum of industry & service sectors like IT, Pharma, Biotech, Hospitality, Healthcare, Logistics, Media & Entertainment, Banking & Financial Services etc. The Telangana student community can capture the huge employment needs arising, if the appropriate skills demanded by these sectors are imparted to the student community with comprehensive industry involvement in curriculum and provision of internships & apprenticeships so that hands-on work exposure would directly enhance the employability of the students. A transformation of the higher education system through the mainstreaming of skilling into the curricula is the dire need for bridging the employability gaps faced by students & industry alike. The YISU has set itself this target of empowering the students of Telangana with job-oriented skills across sectors so that the state and the nation at large, obtain rightly skilled manpower, to propel economic development to higher levels.

We at YISU would strive every day to accomplish the vision and objectives that led to the creation of this Skills University so that the youth of Telangana can lead a life of dignity & professional growth.
